EMO is short for EMOTIONAL. It started as a counter culture to the PUNK culture in the mid-90s. Well, so people claim. Anyways, most are generally self-identify as an alternative lifestyle. They can be identified my long hair, generally covering half the face, as seen above. They iron it out to as straight as possible. Their hair is generally dyed black, but can be multiply colored. Most I have seen involved blond. They usually wear extremely tight fitting clothing. Sometimes so tight, you have to wonder if their clothes have been painted on.
