QAF was all i knew of gay society and people... i will always be thankful that this show helped me realize i was gay, made me realize i wasn't a freak of nature and showed me just how hot sex with a man could be with the proper lighting and music.... THANK YOU GOD FOR QUEER AS FOLK!!!!! when i was stationed overseas, my straight roommate would watch the dvds with me and ask questions about the gay sex.... he to this day is still a closet case. this was the first time i (at age 15) had seen any gay sex…. this scene was the start of my love affair with men. I taped every episode and quite a few more than once. This scene had my hand in my pants every time. But for me possibly the most moving scene was the school dance and the song "Save the last dance for me" still brings back that scene.
