Yep these Marines are not defending us. They are there because of the direct order of GWB and his sick penchant for playing bully in the region. It iwas all about controling oil fields and not about national security. Read something more than Perez Hilton for your information. The vid is fun and the guy like fun their job appears boroing so you get your fun when you can…what about the guy in the rear that likes to get close to his buddy’s butt for the cha cha section. check it out

Funny how much I love this video. I went looking for other videos on the web of hot male dancing and it seems to be rare. You used to have one on here that looked like one of the dink flamingo boys dancing naked on the bed (Cole?) and it was really awesome. Would like more if you can find any.

@Anon, There’s a video I saw recently of a group of Marines dancing to great tunes from Lady GagGa. It was widely disseminated as there’s comments about them not being hassled about it. It is really well done.I must admit, though, it brought tears to my eyes. I lived in San Diego for a number of years & had some terrific friends in both the USN & USMC; friendships that lasted anywhere from 15-20 years. But they are all gone, having succumbed to the ravages of HIV. They were the best, bar none.

Mian, what do you mean with “they are fighting in the … desert”? Over 4,000 men (and some women) have died in Iraq. And while Saddam Hussein probably didn’t pose any immediate threat to the United States—nevermind his assassination attempt on George H. W. Bush and his subsidizing suicide bombers in Israel—his army was defeated in three weeks and before the end of the year 2003, Saddam Hussein was captured. Saddam ceased to be the focus of the Iraq war after 2003. The focus shifted to an Al-Qaeda insurgency. Had we (US, British and other nations’ forces) withdrawn after toppling Saddam’s regime, insurgents may have set up a frightening Islamic-republican terrorist state. By fighting Al-Qaeda, these men are protecting us.
Characterizing the purpose of the Iraq War as only for oil is outrageous: This “Iraq Oil Heist” would be the largest, most-ineffective heist in history. From 1998 up to the invasion of Iraq in 2003, US imports of Iraqi oil haven’t noticeably increased. Saddam didn’t export oil to the US for most of the 90′s, a result of Operation Desert Storm. Before Desert Storm, US imports from Iraq are comparable to today’s, if you take into account the proportion of total imports they consisted of at the time.

Vacker: you are naive and a Good Ole Boy Republican such that you defend everything and anything that is GOP. We are there ofr an oil footprint in that region. We portended to be there for FREEDOM and DEMOCRACY when the argument of Weapons of mass destruction fizzled. We needed a rationale. And the gulible American public bought it until the numbers of dead men and women began to mount and our strategy of liberation floundered from lack of preparation.
You present lots of “arguments” such as Iraq becoming a Islam Republican State…which it will probably become but if they chose to become such…isn’t that was democracy is all about….you get to choose what you want. In fact iran would never allowed Al Quida to have a strong hold they hate Al Quida and their precepts of governing.
Yes we were there for oil and the republican administration stated that from the start…as long as we have a foot print in that area, we can get controlif and when we need to do so. In their minds it was a matter of future survival.

This vid is funny, your political comments make me sad. I will explain me in my own language, that’s obviously more easy fore me regarding the importance and the gravity of the suject, sorry for my bad English…
D’abord, qu’il s’agisse ou non de défendre la sécurité intérieure de son pays plutôt que ses intérêts à l’étranger, le résultat est le même : l’un de nos poètes (Jacques Prévert) avait écrit je cite : “Quelle connerie la guerre !”. Ensuite, je doute qu’en réalité l’opération “Tempète du Désert” (which you called in your state operation “Desert Storm”) à laquelle la France a aussi activement participé, visait à éliminer une menace directe pour les Etats-Unis ou pour quelqu’autre pays que ce soit. C’était probablement bien pour anéantir un régime despotique et dictatorial aux élans de conquète un peu trop dangereux pour la stabilité économique de cette région dont la richesse, quoiqu’on en dise, réside avant tout dans le pétrole. Toujours est-il que s’il n’y avait eu aucune menace directe ni d’intérêt à protéger, jamais il n’y aurait eu d’opération “Tempête du Désert” : il n’y a qu’a constater l’immobilisme total de la communauté internationale face aux génocides récurrents en Afrique du Sud, qui ne représentent pas une menace et qui sont des pays pauvres, bien que certains exportent des produits utiles à la communauté internationale mais pas aussi fondamentaux que le pétrole des pays arabes. Cette injustice dans l’action armée relève de l’égoïsme des pays riches occidentaux dans lesquels nous vivons, et je suis désolé de n’y voir aucune bravoure honnorable. Vous parlez de respect… Je suis partagé entre l’indignation et le peu de considération que je porte sincèrement à nos soldats qui croient vraiment (et naïvement, en effet) se battre pour des valeurs parfaitement nobles, et mon dégoût aussi pour ceux qui “roulent des mécaniques” (them who flex their muscles), sans aucun sens du discernement (mais j’en veux surtout à nos politiciens). Ma remarque vaut bien sûr pour les Marines comme pour les forces armées françaises et autres, ces soldats qui tirent orgueil et vanité de la supériorité imbécile de leur statut, qui mériterait d’être employée également en d’autres occasions.
De fait, entre deux exercices, comme ils sont beaux et forts, tant mieux s’ils s’amusent aussi, ils en ont besoin et ce n’est pas moi qui m’en plaindrais : au fond ils ont peut-être choisi pour certains de s’engager, alors qu’ils s’”amusent” jusqu’au bout !

this is coming from some one that is currently in the sandbox and let me tell you, it is boring as all get out here and repetitive, really repetitive. So if these guys are acting like this, let them be, dont judge them, i have seen married guys do the gayest things just for entertainment purposes. Two, yes oil is part of the mission, but also part of this is stopping the spread of an exteme culture that takes in the poor and uses them to attack other cultures that they feel are not right. I talked to a retired kenyan military member and he said that in kenya the do not allow muslims out of fear of the muslims will attack them or take over cities. i am not saying all muslims are this way, i have met some that condone greatly how their extremist partners act. All i am saying like we have people that are extremist in their beliefs in the states, and do not go to extreme ends to make their points, yet these people do and will. In all reality we are protecting all cultures from being lost to a warlike culture that thinks they are right.
